Yakult Symposium, Wien 26-27 May 2011

The 6th International Yakult Symposium focuses on the gut. Health maintenance is a dynamic process and the gut plays an essential role in it. Different aspects of this multifunction organ, with its vast population of commensal microbes, will be discussed - highlighting how this internal ecosystem can be an important factor in health maintenance or disease, and how probiotics can influence this.
